Here is a bonus tip I didn't get to in the episode.
Another alternative to the 403b is the 457b. If your district has that option be sure to take a look at it as part of your considerations. Your 403b vendors might be terrible, but your single 457b vendor might be great, and that means you won’t have to jump through these hoops if you can just educate your fellow teachers on the benefits of another investment vehicle.
