I’ve talked about this before, but the teacher’s vow of poverty is very real, and a strong psychological force keeping teachers poor. If we can accept that wealth building is possible on a teacher’s salary, we’ll be amazed at what can happen, especially when we stop equating wealth with owning a Bougatti. It turns out that wealth is more about optionality, freedom, and flexibility that anything else. Don’t believe me? Listen to The Wealthy Teacher, Danny Kofke, share his story and I think you’ll be convinced.

Bonus Tip
Here is a bonus tip I didn't get to in the episode.
Flexibility doesn’t mean you have to leave teaching, in fact we don’t want you to leave. Flexibility is mostly about turning a job environment that has become toxic in recent years and flipping that on its head. Instead of giving the power to your employer, you have the power. If you are wealthy, you never have to stay in a toxic job a second longer, and that is power!
