If you’re curious about commercial real estate, start looking at it. Get an app like LoopNet (not the best place to find deals, but a starting point) and see what it will take. Can you afford prices in your area? If not, can you afford them somewhere else? Look at markets you are somewhat familiar with and figure out the best place to invest for you, then start working toward that goal. You’ll never make progress without a goal in mind.
