Our money thought patterns are usually engrained in us from a pretty early age. We don’t necessary know off hand what those defining moments are, but they continue to shape our saving and spending habits throughout our life, unless we do something about it. The first step is to identify those moments and the associated thought patterns, and then make incremental changes to improve your financial life. Becca from Money Beyond Math joins me to talk about this in more detail.

A common teacher thought patterns is “I’m supposed to be poor”. This teacher vow of poverty is false. You can be wealthy if you make small incremental changes in your life. Don’t give up just because you make a relatively low salary.
